A man from Bosnia, identified as Nermin Sulejmanovic, killed his ex-wife and shared the gory murder on Instagram live on Friday, August 11.
Following the murder of his former partner, he went on a shooting rampage and killed a father & a son in a horrific triple murder.
Before the murder, his ex-partner had shared tragic final post of their little child, saying baby daughter ‘made life worth living.’
The attack took place on Friday in Gradacac, Bosnia, before 35-year-old Sulejmanovic turned the gun on himself.
Who was Nermin Sulejmanovic?
Nermin Sulejmanovic was a bodybuilder, fitness influencer and coach.
Sulejmanovic was born between 1987 and 1988 and was 35-year-old.
He had a growing followers on Instagram.
Nermin lived in Sibovac, Bosnia and was a husband and a father.
He had an estranged relationship with the mother of his daughter named Nizama Hećimović.
Per reports, his ex-wife, Nizama, had moved away with his daughter and that supposedly led to him taking matters into his hands and doing the unthinkable.
Sulejmanovic livestreamed the brutal execution of his ex-wife on Instagram as 12,000 people watched before killing two other people.
What did Nermin Sulejmanovic do?
According to Bosnian media reports, Nermin Sulejmanovic started a live stream on social media by saying that viewers “will see what a live murder looks like” – before taking a gun and firing a bullet into the woman’s head.
Sulejmanovic also reportedly filmed a baby, believed to be his daughter, lying on the ground – and confirmed that she was alive.
Local cops have not given any more information about the incident or revealed the identity of the infant.
The alleged killer later said: “I warned everyone that it would come to this. She has been hiding my child for eight days. I’m waiting to load my weapon and move on.”
Prosecutors said that after the horror killing, the man took to the streets of Gradacac with the gun and shot and killed a man and his son.
Sulejmanovic also wounded a police officer, named Husein Kotoric, another man, and a woman at various locations while on the run.
“I have no words to describe what happened today in Gradacac,” said Nermin Niksic, the Prime Minister of the Bosnian Federation. The murderer took his own life in the end, but no one can bring back the lives of the victims.”
As cops caught up with the man, Sulejmanovic live-streamed two more videos on social media, claiming to have shot at least two other people while on the run.
“He escaped in a Skoda, and I couldn’t catch up with him in my BMW,” he said of the police officer he had shot at.
The assailant wounded three additional people before he “committed suicide after being located and before being apprehended,” police said in a statement in the regional center of Tuzla.
According to local media, the bodybuilder was a member of a drug gang and had already several convictions for acts of violence, fights, and his involvement in drug trafficking.
Police said that viewers who wrote supportive messages while watching the man’s grisly live stream on Friday will be questioned and could possibly face legal repercussions.
Alongside Nizama, father and son Džengiz and Denis Onder were murdered and three more were wounded on the street as Sulejmanovic continued his rampage before turning the gun on himself.

Mum Nizama Hećimović shared a photo with her daughter saying she made the “future worth living for” before the young woman’s life was cut tragically short.
Accompanied by a snap of her baby’s foot, she posted: “A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, money less, home happier, clothes more shabby, the past forgotten and a future worth living for.”
Local media reported that Sulejmanovic killed his former wife as their daughter, who survived the attack unscathed, “lay crying in a pool of blood”.
Nizama’s sister also shared a heartbreaking tribute on Facebook, writing: “My beautiful darling, I still can’t believe that this could happen. Your sister loves you the most.”
