In a tweet on his Twitter handle Sky Sports pundits Geoff Shreeves paid tribute to Michael Parkinson. According to him, he is the undisputed king of chat shows.

He wrote; “They say never meet your heroes. I did and held Sir Michael Parkinson in even greater esteem.”

“Consummate pro, brilliant interviewer and warm genuine down-to-earth proper journalist. The undisputed king of chat shows. Condolences to his family.”

Popular British Broadcaster Piers Morgan has also paid tribute to Michael Parkinson. He also described Sir Michael as the Goast of TV Interviews.
