The Republic of India has made history by becoming the first country to successfully a spacecraft called “Chandrayaan-3” on the south pole of the moon.
The exciting news was achieved today Wednesday 23rd August 2023. The Indian Space Research Organization ISRO) through their X handle formerly Twitter shared the exciting news with Indians and the world.
They tweeted that Chandrayaan-3 had successfully soft-landed on the moon. Their tweet read “Chandrayaan-3 Mission:’India, I reached my destination and you too!’: Chandrayaan-3Chandrayaan-3 has successfully soft-landed on the moon! Congratulations, India!”
The exciting news got a couple of Indian celebrities reacting to the successful landing of the spacecraft on the moon. Read more to find out the celebrities who have reacted.
1. Shah Rukh Khan
The Indian actor shared on his Twitter the excitement of India successfully landing a spacecraft on the moon.
He tweeted “Chaand Taare todh laoon….Saari Duniya par main chhaoon. Aaj india aur #ISRO chhaa gaya. Congratulations to all the…”
He posted on his Instagram congratulating the ISRO for a good work done. He wrote “Taare todh laoon….Saari Duniya par main chhaoon. Aaj india aur #ISRO chhaa gaya. Congratulations to all the scientists and engineers…the whole team which has made India so proud. Chandrayaan-3 has successfully soft-landed on the moon. #Chandrayaan3.”
2. Prabhas
Indian actor Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju popularly known as Prabhas also shared in the excitement. He also congratulated the India Space Research Organisation for doing good work.
He wrote “A huge congratulations to @isro.in, for successfully achieving a soft landing with #Chandrayaan3 on the lunar surface. Jai Hind!”
3. Kamal Hassan
The Indian actor also joined in the excitement as he journey of ISRO. He shared a photo of how the parts of the satellite were transported using a bicycle. He added that this special day will forever be remembered and Indians will soon walk on the moon.

Indian actor Mahesh Badu shared in the excitement by congratulation the ISRO as well. He added that the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the moon shows India’s scientific excellence and a giant leap in space exploration.

Another popular Indian actor, Hrithik Roshan, shared in the excitement of how he is proud to be an Indian in this historic moment.
He further congratulated the ISRO for their brilliance behind the successful landing of the spacecraft on the moon.

Indian actor, film producer and former politician, Chiranjeev, shared in the excitement highlighting how the landing of Chandrayaan-3 was an absolute and momentous achievement for India.
He further indicated that this success opens the door for more discoveries on the moon. Indian actor and film producer, Sunny Deol, also congratulated the ISRO on the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon.
