A racist young man named Ryan Pameter – launched his hate-fueled attack after storming a Dollar General store in Jacksonville, Florida – shooting dead three Black people (two men and a woman).

The police have described his insane attack as “racially motivated.”

Who was Jacksonville shooting suspect, Ryan Palmeter?

Ryan Christopher Palmeter is a young man who chose the wrong and unlawful way of going viral. He gained fame for being the suspect in the Jacksonville shooting that took place in inside a Dollar General store.

As NBC News reported, 21-year-old shooting suspect Palmeter killed three Black people at a Dollar General store in Jacksonville, Florida.

He then died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Sheriff T.K. Waters.

Action Jax News reported that Palmeter was described as a white man who allegedly lived with his parents.

According to the outlet, he was reportedly involved in a 2016 domestic call in Clay County, Florida, but was not arrested. He was then reportedly Baker Acted in 2017.

What did Ryan Palmeter do?

On August 26, the suspect Palmeter shot and killed three people in a Jacksonville, Florida Dollar General store before shooting himself.

NBC News reported that authorities identified the victims as 52-year-old Angela Michelle Carr, 19-year-old Anolt Joseph “AJ” Laguerre Jr., and 29-year-old Jarrald De’Shaun Gallion.

Waters said Palmeter was armed with a handgun and an AR-15-style rifle and was wearing a tactical vest, per ABC News.

He also revealed that the suspect had texted his father prior to the shooting.

He said: “At 1.18pm he texted his father and told his father to check his computer.

“At 1.53pm the shooter’s family members called the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. By that time, he had already began shooting in Jacksonville.”

What was the suspect’s motivation behind the shooting?

According to Waters, the shooting was “racially motivated,” as ABC News reported.

He said: “Plainly put, this shooting was racially motivated and he hated Black people.”

He continued: “This is a dark day in Jacksonville’s history. As a member of this Jacksonville community, I am sickened by this cowardly shooter’s personal ideology of hate.”

One of the guns used in the shooting appeared to have swastikas on it, and Waters showed images of the guns.

Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan told reporters: “We must do everything that we can to dissuade this type of hate.

“I can’t even be able to tell you how frustrating this is for all of us because we’ve seen it too much.”

Who are Ryan Palmeter’s parents?

The names of Jacksonville shooter, Ryan Christopher Palmeter’s parents are Stephen Wayne Palmeter (father), and Maryann Palmeter (mother), per heavy.com.

He lived with his mother and father in a suburb of Jacksonville, Sheriff T.K. Waters told a press conference.

The shooter’s mom, 62, has been revealed as a Democrat from Orange Park address as Ryan Palmeter in the Florida voting registration records

She is reportedly tied in a family obituary, public records, and through Pinterest to Stephen Palmeter (Stephen Wayne Palmeter) or Steve Palmeter.

The obituary lists them as husband and wife.

On Pinterest, Maryann Palmeter has a board from last year devoted to ideas for her son Ryan’s 21st birthday.

The suspect, 21-year-old, reportedly bought two guns legally even after being involuntarily held at a mental health facility.

Per authorities, the suspect reached out to his dad via text message before he went on his shooting spree. “At 1.18pm he texted his father and told his father to check his computer. “At 1.53pm the shooter’s family members called the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. By that time, he had already began shooting in Jacksonville.”

It is not known if he has any surviving siblings.
