Tatyana Remley is a 42-year-old woman who resides in Del Mar, California. She has been married to millionaire Mark Remley since 2011.
As The Coast News reported, she and Mark headed the production of the “acrobatic equestrian show” Valitar in 2012, which was scheduled for 45 shows at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
The pair canceled the event following “just a handful” of performances, which negatively impacted dozens of performers and vendors.
They later opened a cycling studio in Solana Beach called Rhythm and Power in 2015. The business “suddenly closed” in mid-2016.
The outlet also reported that per court documents, the couple has been separated since May 2023, and Tatyana filed for divorce in July.
After their Rancho Reposo house suffered a fire in July, Mark alleged that Tatyana had intentionally started the fire, per the publication.
However, in divorce petition documents from the same month, Tatyana said that the home burned down while she and a friend were on the property but that she was unaware of how the fire started.
According to Spokesperson David LaDieu, the bomb and arson unit of the Del Mar Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the cause of the fire and cannot confirm whether it was arson, per The Coast News.

Mark Remley is a millionaire entrepreneur who owns a couple of lucrative businesses.
He was no Warren Buffet; however, he received $26 million when his family’s tech company sold in 2002, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune, per TheSun.
Mark gained worldwide fame following his spouse’s murder-for-hire plot to eliminate him as the world got teary following his story being told in the media.
Mark and Tatyana got married in 2011 and she was his second wife.
A glance through her Facebook profile shows some images that depicts they were once in a happy marriage. One of the pictures has her and Mark all smiles on horseback.
According to The Coast News, the couple had a volatile 12-year relationship characterized by a tumultuous romance and financial extravagance. They have filed for divorce and reconciled multiple times since marrying in 2011.
Per The Coast News, Tatyana previously said her husband owned luxury properties in multiple California areas, including Coronado and Rancho Santa Fe, as well as in Hawaii.
This financial success allowed the couple to live a luxurious life.
Tatyana said she would spend over $50,000 per month and that she had unlimited access to credit cards, per the publication.
The unraveling of the Remleys’ marriage was a factor behind the scenes, as Erik Martonovich, the show’s former director, recalled advising Mark, “I told [Mark], ‘I don’t care about your personal life, I just don’t want it to affect the show.'”
Among the reported details of the divorce filings was the claim that Tatyana Remley was “experiencing extreme financial strain,” as she had “no income” and was “unable to maintain her realistic monthly expenses of just $12,000, much less [than] what she was accustomed to at $50,000.”
She has also alleged that she has been the victim of verbal and physical abuse at the hands of Mark and that he destroyed her property in addition to cutting her off financially.
Tatyana’s husband Mark revealed more details about her attempt to eliminate him.
In an interview with The Coast News, her husband, Mark, has alleged that he found out about his wife’s plot to kill him in early July.
The news outlet reported that Mark alleged that a mutual friend of the couple told him that Tatyana had offered the friend $2million to kill him.
“Mark said he informed police about her alleged attempt to have him killed and that they were able to arrest her a month later via a sting operation,” the news outlet reported.
“He also alleged that just days after his wife made the offer to their friend, she intentionally set fire to the Rancho Reposos home they once shared in early July.”
The sheriff’s department has confirmed that they responded to a house fire call at the couple’s home earlier this summer, however, they are reportedly still investigating the incident.
Do Tatyana Remley and her husband Mark Remley have any children?
Tatyana Remley’s Facebook page now lists her as “single” and a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, which is several hours away from Rancho Reposo, California, the Del Mar-area residence where she and her estranged husband used to live together.
Not much details are known about the couple but per Tatyana’s current Facebook page, she is seemingly a mother of two. She has several images of two kids; a boy and girl on her account’s media.
Why was Tatyana Remley arrested?
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, Tatyana was arrested after being accused of attempting to hire someone to kill Mark, per ABC 10News San Diego.
Spokesman Lt. David LaDieu said the arrest took place at a Starbucks in Solana Beach on August 2, 2023.
According to the criminal complaint filed against Tatyana, the murder-for-hire plot allegedly happened sometime between July 1 and August 2, 2023.
Per The Coast News, she was charged with solicitation of murder.
As ABC 10News San Diego also reported, she is also “facing a charge for allegedly having an unregistered concealed firearm in a vehicle and a third charge for carrying a loaded firearm in a public place.”
The Coast News reported that Tatyana is being held without bail at the Las Colinas Detention Facility in Santee, California.
Tatyana pleaded not guilty to all charges at her August 4 arraignment in Vista Superior Court, per the outlet.
She is scheduled for a hearing on October 16, 2023.
