How did Binho Bezerra and his wife Luciana die?
On Saturday morning, September 9, 2023, Binho Bezerra, his wife Luciana and their dog were confirmed to have died.
At the time of this tragic news, Binho was 64 years old while his wife Luciana was aged 62.
Bezerra and his spouse Luciana were found dead with carbon monoxide poisoning following a boiler leak at their home in Brazil.
The tragedy took place at their luxury mansion beach home in Guaruja, on the coast of Sao Paulo.
Jose and Luciana had been on one of the upper floors where the gas had accumulated.
The Sao Paulo Civil Police said they believed the couple died as a result of a leak of fumes from equipment used to heat the building.
A later autopsy report confirmed carbon monoxide poisoning was the cause of death.
A police spokesman said that although they were positive the gas leak was to blame, they still needed to confirm the technical reason for the leak.
The spokesman added that provisionally it seemed as if a pipe burst, which meant that the exhaust gas was not exiting the building and instead accumulated inside.
The property was one of the most expensive in their gated community but apparently Jose and Luciana did not have a working carbon monoxide alarm.
Had they paid just a few pounds to have one fitted, it could have alerted them or others in the house to the danger.

Before his death, Binho Bezerra was a father. He reportedly had three kids; all sons.
The names of his kids are Marcelo Bezerra, Rodrigo Passos Bezerra de Menezes, and Rafael Bezerra.
Marcelo is married to influencer Marcella Minelli in Bahia since March 2020.
Rafael is also married to his wife Isabella.
Rodrigo Passos, 27, was at the scene of parents death. Per reports, both Binho and Luciana were found by Rodrigo Passos Bezerra, who was at the home with other members of family at the time.
