Colombian artist Fernando Botero on Friday, 15th September 2023 has been confirmed dead. The talented artist died at the age of 91.
He was described as “the painter of our traditions and defects, the painter of our virtues” by the President of Colombia, Gustavo Pedro.
The artist, who lived in Monaco, was suffering from pneumonia, his daughter Lina said on Friday.
