Conor Angus Cloud Hickey –full name – was born on July 10, 1998 (died July 31, 2023) and grew up in Oakland, California. He was of Irish descent, with the majority of his family still residing in Ireland.

Cloud was an American actor best known for his portrayal of Fezco in the HBO drama series Euphoria (2019–2022). He also had small roles in the independent films North Hollywood (2021) and The Line (2023), and appeared in music videos by Noah CyrusJuice WrldBecky G, and Karol G.

Cloud attended the School of Production Design at Oakland School for the Arts. He never acted prior to his role on Euphoria.

Was Angus Cloud married?

Angus Cloud was rumoured to be dating model and actress Sydney Martin. The two never publicly confirmed their relationship, but Martin’s tribute to the Euphoria actor makes it seem like they were very close. Martin appeared in a cameo on Season 2 of Euphoria as sourced from stylecaster.com. He never fathered a child.

How did Angus Cloud manage his Rise to Fame?

Angus Cloud admitted his rise to fame on Euphoria sometimes made him feel “paranoid and like a clown”.
Four months before his unexpected death at 25, Cloud is reported to have reflected on his dislike of Los Angeles and how much his life changed since he was discovered on the street. “I had no idea it would go this far’, he said.

Cloud further voiced out the unexpected sensation of being famous.
“I don’t like people noticing me on the street, I’m really paranoid. I feel like I’m always looking over my shoulder”.
“I do always show love to people who approach me, but some people just run up and just shove their phone in my face. Dude, I’m not a clown at a carnival,” he added. “But I love when people ask for my autograph. It’s only happened a couple times.”

How did Angus Cloud die?

Cloud, who became famous for his role as drug dealer Fezco in the HBO series Euphoria, died at his family’s home in Oakland, California, on July 31, aged 25, his family confirmed to people.

In their initial statement, the family noted that Angus’ father was buried last week and the actor “intensely struggled with this loss,” but did not reveal a cause of death.

However, as confirmed by a coroner and captured by bbc.com, the Euphoria actor Angus Cloud is said to have died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and other drugs.

That harrowing morning, his mother Lisa had found her son slumped over his desk. He often fell asleep in his chair while creating art. But as she approached him to say good morning, she realized something was wrong. “I started shaking him and screaming. I pushed him hard, and he fell on the floor. I tried to resuscitate him — mouth to mouth — and I was compressing him,” she says, sobbing. “I was screaming for my neighbor because I didn’t want to leave him and call 911, and I just kept at it until they took him away.” She wipes away a tear. “I miss him so much. He was the love of my life.” – people

Angus Cloud’s Father, Mother, and Twin Sisters

Angus Cloud was born to Conor Hickey and Lisa Cloud Mclaughlin. The couple had two twin girls, Molly and Fiona in addition to Angus.

His father grew up in Ireland, where he was captain of the Ashbourne Rugby Club in 1982, per the Meath Chronicle. The publication noted that Conor left for California in the ‘80s, where his son Cloud was eventually born and raised.

He died on May 18, 2023, “after a short illness.” Conor’s wife later revealed he died of cancer in a tribute post shared on Facebook on June 2, following his memorial service.  

“My fella lived large and loud! His cancer moved quickly which was devastating to all who loved him, but there is comfort in the fact that his pain wasn’t prolonged,” his wife wrote. “He is the love of my life. He was an incredible father to his three children, and a great support to many many others as well.” 

Following his death, Cloud posted a tribute to his father on July 14, captioning the post, “miss u breh.” 

Cloud’s mother, Lisa Cloud Mclaughlin, was die hard supporter of her son’s career, never failing to hype her son’s accomplishments on social media.

In one post shared in April 2022, she wrote “I am both proud and devastated by my son’s performance” as Fez on the gritty HBO series Euphoria

During a previous interview with Variety in 2022, Cloud shared that his mother actually helped save his life when he fell into a deep construction hole when he was a teenager.

He mentioned that though he wanted to go to sleep after the fall, his mother decided to take him to the children’s hospital, where the doctors detected a brain injury that needed immediate attention.

“I would have died,” he explained of the near-death situation. “That’s what the scar’s from. They cut my head open, they put some screws and a plate over where I broke my skull. I’m so blessed to just have minor brain damage. You know, it’s so minor it ain’t even really worth speaking about.”

Cloud’s twin sisters Molly and Fiona, who also grew up in Oakland, California graduated high school in June 2021, and Fiona currently attends college at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, per her Instagram bio.
