How many children does Bindi Irwin have?

Bindi Irwin is a proud mother of one. She has one child, a daughter named Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.

She shares her kid with her husband Chandler Powell.

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell welcomed their daughter Grace Warrior on March 25, 2021. This bundle of joy coupled with the duo’s one year anniversary.

“Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter,” Bindi wrote on Instagram. “There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”

Before their daughter was born, just like many other celebrities and public figures, Bindi and Chandler took to social media to announced they were expecting their first child on August 11, 2020.

With a photo of the couple grinning and holding a tiny Australia Zoo uniform, Irwin announced that she and Powell were expecting their first child together. “Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021,” Irwin wrote. “Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter. We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us.”

On September 22, 2020, they did a gender reveal and confirmed they were expecting a baby girl.

“Baby girl, you are our world,” Irwin wrote alongside a photo of her and Powell smiling with a sonogram as she hugged a giant tortoise. “Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be. We can’t wait for her arrival next year.”

“Our little girl and my beautiful wife are my entire world,” Powell wrote in his own post. “I’m so excited to meet our daughter when she’s born next year and to see the incredible person she will grow up to be.”

Who is Chandler Powell, Bindi Irwin’s husband?

Powell is a professional wakeboarder from Seffner, Florida, and his parents, Chris and Shannan Powell, currently live just outside of Tampa.

Powell is famous primarily because of his connection with Irwin, whom he met in 2013.

He is the husband of Bindi Irwin, Steve Irwin’s daughter and she is a conservationist, zookeeper, and actress.

Chandler Powell was born on November 14, 1996, in Florida in the United States. He moved to Orlando, attended the University of Central Florida and majored in Marketing.

Powell won the Triple crown title in 2014 during his time as a professional wakeboarder.

How did Bindi meet Chandler Powell?

While on a trip to the Australia Zoo with his family in 2013, Powell met Irwin for the first time, even documenting it on Instagram.

Two years later, in 2015, Powell and Irwin started dating and they were seen on the red carpet at “Dancing With the Stars” events as Irwin was a contestant at the time. In 2017, Powell attended the Irwin family’s annual crocodile research trip and he became versed in the ways of animal conservation which sparked a new-found passion within him.

In 2018, the late Steve Irwin was honored with a star on the “Hollywood Walk of Fame” in Los Angeles, an event attended by both Powell and Irwin as a couple. That same year, Powell decided to move to Australia to be with Bindi Irwin, quitting his athletic career and learning more about wildlife conservation. Powell proposed to her a year later in 2019. The couple were married in 2020 and had their daughter a year later in 2021.

The couple is considering moving to the United States in the near future to, no doubt, continue their wildlife conservation efforts.

What happened to Bindi Irwin?

Irwin is embracing her “second chance at life” after recovering from major surgery for endometriosis.

Bindi went under the knife in the United States in March following a decade of suffering from the “painful” condition.

She was initially told by one doctor that the pain was “something women just have to deal with”.

And just a week before the operation, Bindi claimed she “was barely able to get out of bed” because the agony was so great.

But she has since revealed how she is living a “different life” following the surgery.

Speaking to Fox News Digital this week, she said: “My life now looks completely different than it did before I had my surgery.

“Over the 10 years that I was really battling with endo without knowing it, I would get progressively worse every week and in the end, before my surgery, I was barely able to get out of bed.”

Following the surgery, the TV personality opened up about her ten-year struggle with the disease in a lengthy Instagram post on March 8.

Included in the post was a picture of her smiling in a hospital bed after the surgery.

Bindi revealed that doctors had “found 37 lesions, some very deep & difficult to remove, & a chocolate cyst” – a term for a cyst filled with menstrual blood.

The celebrity conservationist said she had spent ten years “torn apart [by] the pain” and knew she had to have surgery because she “couldn’t live like I was”.

Bindi admitted that she wasn’t sure if she wanted to discuss her health publicly, but decided to speak out in the hope of helping other women struggling with endometriosis.

She also wanted to draw attention to doctors not taking the condition seriously, noting how one physician had once told her the pain was just a normal part of being a woman.

More than six months down the line, however, Bindi is grateful to have restarted her life with husband Chandler Powell and their one-year-old daughter, Grace Warrior.
