Who is Patrick McHenry married to?

United States Representative Patrick McHenry has been married to his wife, Giulia Cangiano, for over a decade.

McHenry and Cangiano tied the knot in 2010, at the Belmont Abbey College, Belmont, North Carolina, United States, and they’ve been together ever since.

At the time of his marriage, he was 37 years old.

McHenry met his future spouse throughout his years with the House of Representatives.

In September 2019, the then 33-year-old congressman got engaged to Giulia in the tiny, cute and romantic spot of St. Michaels. 

Patrick McHenry and his wife, Giulia welcomed three children throughout their marriage.

They have two daughters named Cecelia Rose and Therese Anne, and a son named Peregrine Callan. Patrick and Giulia tied the knot in 2010 and live in Denver, North Carolina.

According to the House of Representatives website, the two spend their time on the weekend attending their local church, the Holy Spirit Church.

McHenry and his family live in Denver, North Carolina.

In 2023, fellow Republican congressman Mike Lawler told interviewer Julie Mason that McHenry had saved his 15-month-old daughter’s life after she began choking on her food at an event.

Giulia Cangiano is famous as the spouse of Patrick McHenry.

Giulia Cangiano McHenry is Chief of the Federal Communications Commission’s Office of Economics and Analytics department.

She’s held this position since December 2018.

Before her position with the FCC, Guilia received her bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University in 2001.

She later received her PhD in economics from the University of Maryland in 2009.

Following her degree, Giulia went on to work as a research analyst for NERA Economic Consulting.

She later went to work as a senior associate for The Brattle Group for five years.

Who is Patrick McHenry?

Patrick McHenry is an American politician born on October 22, 1975, in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Patrick earned his bachelor’s degree in history at Belmont Abbey College.

In 1998, Patrick ran for the North Carolina House of Representatives.

While he won the primary elections, he eventually lost the general elections.

It wasn’t until 2003 that Patrick was sworn in as the North Carolina House of Representatives.

Two years later, in 2005, Patrick assumed office in the US House of Representatives.

He went on to become the House Republican Chief Deputy Whip from 2014 until 2019.

He then went on to be a chair of the House Financial Services Committee.

On October 3, 2023, Patrick was appointed as the Interim House Speaker following Kevin McCarthy‘s termination.
