Bre Tiesi claimed that after giving birth to Nick Cannon’s ninth child, she had to contend with a “intense” postpartum experience.

“I had no control over my mental state, over my emotions, over my anything. That was intense,” the “Selling Sunset” actor recounted on the “Not Thin But Nor Fat” podcast’s episode from Tuesday.

“You can’t stop yourself, and I think that was what makes it so scary. ‘Cause you’re like, ‘What’s wrong with me? Like, nothing’s wrong. Like, I have this beautiful baby. And why am I crying? And I don’t cry. Like, what the hell’s wrong with me?’ Like, you just can’t get it together.”

The 32-year-old Tiesi also expressed her opinion that society does not adequately prepare women for the realities of childbirth.

“Everyone lies to you about motherhood,” she opined.

“They don’t really tell you how hard it is and everything that comes with it and all of that. I think that I thought I’d snap back immediately, mentally, physically, in all ways.”

For the realtor, navigating through her postpartum struggles was even more difficult because she was filming the sixth season of “Selling Sunset.”

“[I felt] the pressures of, like, being on TV and being like, ‘What if I say something that f–king gets me canceled or ruins me or they edit it [poorly]?’” she reflected.

Just a few weeks after giving birth to her and Cannon’s son, Legendary Love, in June 2022, Tiesi was revealed as a cast member on the Netflix series.

The former model admitted that the 43-year-old “Masked Singer” host supported her during her difficult time and referred to him as a “good man” who “steps up” for their son.

She also credited maintaining her physical health and “trying to keep any normalcy” from her life prior to becoming a mother for keeping her resilient during the emotional ordeal.

During “Not Skinny But Not Fat,” Tiesi explained how she first met Cannon through a friend roughly ten years ago. She said that they started dating intermittently after she was formally introduced to the former Nickelodeon star on his improv comedy show, “Wild ‘N Out.”

The reality personality also disclosed that she had discussed having a kid with the father of 12 children, for years, but she didn’t feel ready until she hit 30.

Tiesi claimed that she is currently totally enjoying being in “mum mode.”

“I can really focus on my son, and I can focus on my career, and we do our own thing how and when we wanna do it,” she noted. “It works for me.”
