Jennifer Aniston has cemented her name as an actress and a businesswoman. But, does she have any children from her tall list of relationships?

Jennifer Aniston rose to international fame for her role as Rachel Green on the television sitcom Friends from 1994 to 2004, for which she earned Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild awards.

Since her career progressed in the 1990s, she has become one of the world’s highest-paid actresses.

She has been on a roll with her roles in blockbuster television shows and films as of late.

In October 2023, she made headlines after striping completely naked and flaunting her ageless figure for an X-rated scene on her Emmy Award-winning show with Reese Witherspoon, The Morning Show.

While Jen has filled nearly every role under the sun, fans might want to know if she is a mother, a title that is often the biggest achievement for women. Read on for more about her kids and family.

Does Jennifer Aniston have any children?

Jennifer Aniston, who has been married twice, is not yet a mother and hence, she has kids. There are no reports about the actress having welcomed a son or a daughter.

In her marriage to Brad Pitt which lasted for almost five years, the actress hinted that she and Pitt may have been ready to have a child together.

“It’s time. It’s time. You know, I think you can work with a baby, I think you can work pregnant, I think you can do all of it,” she told The Guardian in February 2004.

The Golden Globe Award-winning actress has faced years of scrutiny and questioning about her decision to not have children, and she has naturally handled it with grace.

For example, when she divorced from her first marriage to Ad Astra star, Pitt, Jen denied that they separated due to her lack of desire to start a family. “A man divorcing would never be accused of choosing career over children. That really pisses me off,” she vented to Vanity Fair in 2005 before revealing that she does in fact plan to have kids. “I’ve never in my life said I didn’t want to have children. I did and I do and I will!”

She went on to say that women who have successful careers and children inspire her. “Why would I want to limit myself? I’ve always wanted to have children, and I would never give up that experience for a career,” she explained. “I want to have it all.”

She has spoken out against the rampant sexism still prevalent in our culture and how her child-free life shouldn’t be a notable characteristic.

In Dec. 2022, Jen told Allure that she actually once tried to conceive via IVF. “All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it,” she explained. “I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.” The starlet clarified that despite that, she still has no regrets. “I have zero regrets. I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.’ I don’t have to think about that anymore,” she concluded.

Jennifer Aniston has been in several relationships and has been married twice but in all, she has had difficult times finding the best man. Currently, she is single.

A source told Us Weekly that the Friends alum “believes she’ll eventually meet the right person, but she’s not going to beat herself up if it doesn’t happen.”

Jennifer was previously married to Brad Pitt in 2000, but the two split five years later. Pitt, 59, went on to marry his Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie. (Pitt and Jolie, 48, filed for divorce in 2016 after two years of marriage and a decade together. They share six children together, Maddox, 22, Pax, 19, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.)

What is known about Jennifer Aniston’s family?

Aniston (real name: Jennifer Joanna Aniston) was born on February 11, 1969, in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, U.S.

Her parents are Nancy Dow and John Aniston who were already famous before she became a star. Her father, John, was a Greek-born actor and her mother Nancy Dow was an actress.

Aside from her parents being movie stars, her grandparents were also famous. One of her maternal great-grandfathers, Louis Grieco, was from Italy. Her mother’s other ancestry includes English, Irish, Scottish, and a small amount of Greek. Her father’s ancestry is from the Greek island of Crete. Her godfather was actor Telly Savalas, one of her father’s best friends.

Aniston is not an only child to her parents. She has two half-brothers: John Melick, her older maternal half-brother; and Alex Aniston, her younger paternal half-brother.

Aniston’s mom, Nancy Dow died in 2016 at age 79, while her father, John Aniston, died in 2022 at the age of 89. They got divorced in 1980 when Jennifer was 9 years old.

Although Jennifer had a difficult childhood, she bonded with her father over their shared passion for acting. Elsewhere in the WSJ. interview, she explained that she still sees signs of her father in her everyday life. “I feel closer to him now than I did almost when he was alive,” she told the publication. “I feel like he’s everywhere. I really do.”

This isn’t the first time Jennifer has spoken publicly about her childhood. In February 2020, she called her household “unsafe” and “destabilized.” She told Interview, “Watching adults being unkind to each other and witnessing certain things about human behavior made me think, ‘I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to be that.’”
