Britney Spears admits in her new memoir that she had no interest in her famed Onyx Hotel Tour — despite fans believing it was one of her best live outings.

“It was too sexual, for a start,” the pop star writes in “The Woman in Me,” describing the 2004 show as “rough.”

Spears explains that she pushed the envelope at the time because her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake had “embarrassed [her] publicly” two years prior by discussing their sex life in interviews and claiming she cheated on him.

“My rebuttal onstage was to kind of go there a little bit,” she shares. “But it was absolutely horrible. I hated it in the moment.”

In fact, the “Toxic” singer, 41, calls the tour “stupid” and confesses to praying “every night” that she would break a bone so she could cancel the remaining concerts.

Spears’ wish came true when she fell and injured her knee on the set of her “Outrageous” music video, forcing her to pull the plug on the last two months of the Onyx Hotel Tour.

Despite needing surgery, the “Crossroads” star was able to breathe a sigh of relief.

“I felt like I’d been manipulated into going straight back to work after the breakup with Justin, because it was all I knew,” she writes in her book, which hit stores Tuesday.

“The Onyx tour was a mistake. But in my mind I thought I should just do what I was supposed to do, which was work.”

Although Spears was not a fan, her boundary-pushing tour was well-received by fans and critics alike.

The show featured nearly two dozen of the entertainer’s greatest hits, including “…Baby One More Time” and “I’m a Slave 4 U.” It also included a segment in which she mimed masturbation to her song “Touch of My Hand” while wearing a nude bodysuit in a bathtub.

Fans who were unable to score tickets to the provocative spectacle were able to watch from home when its Miami stop aired live on Showtime. Spears also included behind the scenes footage in her and her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s reality show, “Chaotic.”
