Celebrities — they’re just like us. North West prefers living a simple life at her dad Kanye West’s apartment which has no staffers or security, according to her mom Kim Kardashian.
On Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians,” Kim revealed that North, 10, would much rather stay at her dad’s humble condo than the Skims founder’s plush $60 million mansion, where she has a chef and a “manny.”
“She’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best,’” Kim said of North during a chat with her sister, Kourtney Kardashian.
“‘He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment,’” she said of West, who resides in his condo with wife Bianca Censori.
“And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment.’”
“They make their own food. That is amazing that you make Ramen,” Kim sarcastically remarked, to which Kourtney added, “You boil water and pour it onto some noodles.”
It turns out that Kourtney’s three kids, Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, also prefer staying with their dad, Scott Disick.
“They do that at Scott’s too,” the Poosh founder responded. “‘Dad has the best house, your house sucks. He has the best house. It’s not super big, the vibe’s better.’ I feel like everything falls on the parent that’s more involved.’”
Kim, who also shares Chicago, 5, and sons Saint, 7, and 4-year-old Psalm with the rapper, says their eldest daughter North has taught her a lot about “patience.”
“Kourtney always says that North is my lesson on this planet,” Kim says in a confessional.
“I’m supposed to learn even more about patience – she teaches me patience. She has taught me a lot about life.”
It comes as North revealed that she plans to follow in her mom and dad’s footsteps in the fashion biz, revealing to i-D magazine that she hopes to take the reins from her parents’ respective companies eventually.

“One day I want to own Yeezy and Skims, and I want to be a business owner,” she declared when asked what she wanted to be when she grows up.
