Who is Katie Britt?

Katie Britt is an American politician, attorney, and businesswoman.

She was born with the real name Katie Boyd Elizabeth on February 2, 1982, in Enterprise, Alabama, United States.

Her parents are Julian and Debra Boyd.

She first worked at her family’s small business throughout her youth.

A practicing attorney by trade, Katie is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama School of Law.

She is also a member of the Republican Party and beat out Rep. Mo Brooks in June 2022 for a spot on the November ballots.

With this victory, she became the first woman to be elected to the U.S. Senate from Alabama and the youngest Republican woman ever elected to the Senate.

At the time, she told Fox News that getting the endorsement from Donald Trump would help her chances of winning later this year.

“We were so proud to earn that endorsement and also know that people know – and obviously the president said – that we’re the best to fight for the America first agenda,” she said.

“That’s what I’m hearing all over the state. People miss those policies.”

Katie, who is proud to champion hardworking families, worked to grow good-paying jobs and opportunities for all Alabamians while standing up for small and rural businesses – a passion first instilled by her parents, both small business owners in her native Wiregrass. She strongly believes that no child’s zip code should determine their opportunity in life.

She previously served as the chief of staff to Alabama’s then-senior U.S. Senator and has served on numerous boards and committees.

She advocates for smaller government, modern job growth, constitutional liberties, and greater opportunity.

She is a strong believer that life begins at conception and that Alabamians have a right to defend themselves with the Second Amendment.

Britt is also a supporter of building a wall at the border.

“I am horrified and disgusted by what’s happening right now at our Southern border. A nation without borders is not a nation,” she states on her website.

“…I resolutely believe we must put a stop to this siege and build the wall.”

When Joe Biden took office in January 2021, he halted the production of Trump’s wall, which ran along the Mexico and United States border.

US Senator Katie Britt, a Republican representing Alabama, has taken a strong stance against Hamas

Katie has slammed Hamas and stood behind Israel as the conflict in the Middle East rages on.

“Evil is evil, and we have to take it down,” the 41-year-old told CBS News when asked about the situation in Israel and Palestine.

To drive home the point, she shared a story about the attacks the terrorist group orchestrated in Israel on October 7.

“Secretary Blinken told a story in front of our committee last week of a family of four that was sitting down for breakfast,” Britt said.

“When the terrorists came in, these barbaric individuals, they gouged the eyeballs out of the husband. They cut the fingers off of the little boy, a foot off of the little girl, murdered them all, and then finished their breakfast,” she added.

During that Hamas offensive, about 1,400 Israeli citizens were killed and more than 200 were kidnapped.

Since then, more than 10,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel’s military response.

Britt has no interest in advocating for a ceasefire.

“I think if you have a pause, I have heard the Israeli government say that it would be to get the hostages out. That I understand, she said.

“But calling for a ceasefire when these people say that they will do it again and again until the State of Israel is eradicated until the Jewish people are eradicated, guys, you cannot ask the people of Israel to tuck their kids in at night knowing that this could occur at any moment.”

Britt has visited Israel twice since she began her term, once in February and again in recent weeks.

“What we saw on the ground was gut-wrenching. We first met with the families of hostages. Their stories will rip your heart out,” she said.
