Who are Nella Rose’s parents and what happened to them?
Social media influencer Nella Rose was born to parents Eseho Omolongo (mother) and Kamango Paul Hollela (father).
Though she was born in Belgium, her family is of Congolese descent.
At age seven, Rose’s family moved to the United Kingdom.
When she was 18 years old, she attended the University of Leicester, where she studied sociology. Speaking of her time at university, Rose said that she “did not want to go there at all” and would have preferred to get a job, but said she knew that “if she didn’t study at university, her family would never let it go”.

In 2016, the popular YouTuber told fans that her mother Eseho had “passed away in her arms”.

Following her beloved mum’s passing, she lost her council flat, where she lived with her brother.
Nella then revealed she “sofa-surfed” as she put herself through university, before eventually getting her own place.

“I wanted to live with my mum until I was 25. I was forced to let go of that.
“All my friends when they left Uni they got to go back to their parents and get cooked meals, save so much money… I had to basically be alone for the rest of my life until I get married.”
But as if this wasn’t all enough, her father Kamango also died just four years later in 2020.
She told her TikTok followers: “When you’re an immigrant, have been homeless, lost both parents, family have disowned you, constantly body shamed but God continues to bless you.”
