He was a consultant for various film studios.

He founded the social impact group Lead with Love in 2019.

Michael Latt, 33, was shot and killed inside his Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles home on November 27.
Los Angeles police responded to Latt’s home where he was found with multiple gunshot wounds.
He later died at a nearby hospital.
He was killed by a woman who targeted him because he was friends with a woman she was stalking, prosecutors said Thursday.
Police also alleged that another person, other than the accomplice, was present in the residence during the commission of the burglary.

The suspect accused in the slaying of an ex-Netflix worker has been identified after being arrested on the steps of the victim’s home.
So far, authorities have named a 36-year-old woman called Jameelah Elena Michl as the alleged killer of the activist.
Michl was unhoused and living in her car near Latt’s house, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
She allegedly broke into Latt’s home where he lived with his girlfriend shortly before the reported 6 pm shooting, cops said.
Officials said Michl did not attempt to leave the scene following the shooting.
Michl remains in custody on $3 million bail, according to the LAPD.
Michl is charged with one count of murder and one count of first-degree residential burglary with a firearm enhancement with a person present.
She has since been charged with shooting and killing Latt, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón’s office said in a press release on Thursday. The LAPD investigated the case, the district attorney’s office said.
“On November 27, Michl allegedly went to the victim’s residence on the 900 block of Alandele Avenue after she targeted him for being friends with a woman she had been stalking,” the statement reads.
“She allegedly knocked on the door, forcing herself into the residence once it was opened by one of the occupants. Michl, who was allegedly armed with a semi-automatic handgun, shot and killed the victim inside of the home,” the district attorney’s office continued.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of the victim, and we will work tirelessly to ensure that justice is served for this heinous crime,” Gascón said.
