A month ago, Sarkodie was crowned winner of “Best International Flow” category at the BET Hip Hop Awards 2019, and upon climbing the stage to take his award, he made an inspiring speech.
Sarkode said;
I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God. To my family, this one is for my lil girl Titi…. I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time.
This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home. When you’re coming to Africa, choose Ghana

Well, his inspiring speech at the BET Award night did not go unnoticed as the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Tourism has honored the Rapper with an ambassadorial deal.
Sarkodie has been made an ambassador for the year of return 2019 at the Creative Arts Forum which is on going at the National Theater.
