One of the volunteered health workers faints while fumigating the markets in Accra amid the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Today, March 23, most market places in Ghana are been shutdown to allow the health workers to undertake a disinfecting exercise across board.

That is to enable the country stay far away from the deadly coronavirus that has attacked 24 people, killing one in the process.

Earlier in the morning when the health workers were all set to commence the fumigation process, most market places where silent but Ashaiman market traders clashed with the health officials shortly.

They based on the reason that, they were not well communicated that today is set aside for such activities to be held, click here to watch video.

A video of the process of fumigation by Ghana’s Zoomlion under the auspices of Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) and other health workers spraying some streets using a disinfecting car has circulated and we hope at the end of it all, Ghana will record no other infections, click here to watch video.

A sad story coming to us at Thedistin.com has it that one of the health workers went unconscious and was rushed to the hospital.

In a photo available to Thedistin, the man was admitted at the hospital and doctors were spotted attending to him to make sure he’s fine.

Even though the reason for his collapse is not yet known by our Team, possibly it might be as a result of the harmful chemicals they used in spraying the places.

We pray he gets well soon.
