COVID-19: Coronavirus Cases In Ghana Jump To 52

The Government has reported in the country 25 new cases of Coronavirus.

This brings the number of confirmed cases in the country to total 52.

Among the 1,030 people who are under mandatory quarantine in the country, the 25 new cases were confirmed after arriving at the hours of Kotoka International Airport to the deadline for closing the country’s airport.

Meanwhile, Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research is calling for a complete shutdown in the Coronavirus outbreak.

Noguchi Memorial Institute (NMIMR), Ghana’s leading biomedical research institute at the University of Ghana, has called on the government of the 4th Republic of Ghana to ensure that no form of social gathering exists in the country, as the cases of coronavirus in Ghana continue to double.
