The Paramount Chief of Kwahu Abetifi enskinned Mr. Sun Qiang, a Chinese national living at the town for his own personal gain and not that of the citizens, Ghanaian blogger, Wode Maya explains with more details.
A Chinese national by name Sun Qiang has been enstooled as the development chief (Nkosuohene) at Kwahu Abetifi in the Eastern region.

The enstoolment ceremony took place on Saturday, September 5, 2020. A grand durbar was organised at the Kwawu Abetifi Palace to commemorate the special day.
The Chinese national, owing to his enstoolment as the development chief, has been given the Ghanaian name Barima Kofi Ayeboafo as his traditional stool name.

The enstoolment of the Chinese national has, however, received some negative reactions from some Ghanaians with the chiefs and people of Kwahu Abetifi heavily criticised.
On social media, many were angry at the chief of Kwahu Abetifi whilst others couldn’t understand why a Chinese man would be made a chief in Ghana.

Wode Maya, a Young Freelance Ghanaian Vlogger who is on a mission to change the African negative narratives by promoting all the 55 African countries in a video channeled his attention on the town that had installed a foreigner as it’s Nkosuohene.

Maya began vlogging about life in China where his videos went viral gaining an international audience and attention. Since he has stayed and schooled in China in most of his lives he knows much more about Chinese laws and regulations.
Wode Maya took time off his busy schedule to meet and have a one on one chat with the paramount chief of Abetifi, however, according to a vlog he shared, the chief gave an excuse to avoid speaking his the young Ghanaian putting Africa on the map.
From Maya’s video, residents of the town disclosed that the chief has partnership with the Chinese in the town and by making him a leader, it broadens his bond with them for his own personal gains and not that of the inhibitants.
Again, Thedistin.com from Maya’s video got to know that, the newly enstooled Chinese man as Nkosuohene and his other nationals are found of cutting down trees from the town among others.

Per reports available to Thedistin.com, the Abetifi enstoolment of a Chinese as “Chief“ was because he had built a school building for some village out of his successful business.
For a chump change as $5,000, the Chief granted unrestricted rights for cutting the trees and taking vast quantities of land for mining and other business.
