Some partygoers and pleasure seekers defy President Nana Akufo Addo’s COVID-19 orders as they tur up in their numbers to have fun at Sakumono beach

This falls in sharp contravention to the public order by President Akufo Addo that all beaches and pubs remain closed as Ghana battles the spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Nana Akufo-Addo also assured that Ghanaians will have access to the Coronavirus vaccine in his 20th Nation Address.

According to him, he is aware of the anxiety related to the safety and effectiveness of the newly developed vaccines.

President Nana Akufo-Addo also added that the beaches, pubs, cinemas, land, and sea borders remain closed.

However, it seems some people simply don’t care about what the President said as to mass up at the Sakumono beach.

Even though Ghana has outlined strategic interventions to check the spread of the Coronavirus, enforcement has been very weak across the country.

The disturbing thing is that, the cases are now increasing.
