National Petroleum Authority Reduces Fuel Prices Effective 5 May

National Petroleum Authority in collaboration with other stakeholders has decided to reduce fuel prices by 6 pesewas from the initial 17 pesewas increment.

In a communique sighted by thedistin.com, a meeting held between the Minister of Energy and National Petroleum Authority, Association of Oil Marketing Companies, BOST and others agreed there should be a reduction in the fuel margin from the initial 17 pesewas to 9 pesewas per litre effective 5th May 2021.

The communique was signed and accepted by all stakeholders involved and is expected to be biding on all members
