Nigerian Restauranteur Hilda Baci’s curvaceous physique has sparked a lot of plastic surgery speculations, But are the rumors true?
Hilda Effiong Bassey popularly known as Hilda Baci is a 27-year-old Nigerian internet personality who was born on September 20, 1996, in Akwa Ibom State, South Eastern Nigeria.
She is a multi-talented Nigerian Chef, Host, YouTube content creator, TV Producer, and entrepreneur who started her journey from grass to grace.
Baci schooled at Madonna University Okija where she studied Sociology. Hilda was born to Mr. and Mrs. Effiong Bassey of Akwa Ibom.
Miss Hilda Effiong started her career as a chef in 2020 without anyone, but today, she has built a name for herself and a brand. Hilda has a degree in Sociology from Madonna University, Okija. She’s currently the Chef head and CEO of @Myfoodbyhilda. At the time she began the business, she had only one location but currently, she has several locations and branches all over the country.
Since Hilda has been an internet sensation for a while, a lot of speculation about her having done a Brazilian Butt Lift or butt augmentation made the news after Nigerians compared her before and after pictures. But, is it true she has had a BBL?

Has Hilda Baci undergone any plastic surgery?
TV producer, actress, and head cook at FoodbyHilda, Hilda Baci is one of the curvaceous Nigerian internet celebrities.
Although her height and body measurements are not known, she has a nice physique and a very huge backside.
Currently, Hilda Baci has not admitted to having plastic surgery or BBL, and there is no evidence of any surgery the chef may have done yet. Hence, we cannot provide any before-surgery pictures of Hilda. However, a lot of Nigerians believe she has but trying to keep it private. Others who seem to have followed her for a long time also assert she once revealed she had indeed undergone the process.
What TheDistin knows is that, before Hilda became famous, she was a bit chubby (weighing over 100 kg) but still had an enviable physique. Even in her YouTube video titled “Dubai Trip Vlog“, the now Hilda with a flat tummy was very heavy. In a video shared by GossipMillNaija, Hilda could be heard disclosing that she transformed into her desired body by losing so much weight from 110kg to 81kg in just two years through exercising and eating healthy.
As it stands now, Hilda’s endowed body can be a result of her workouts. Per her Instagram page, she is also a fitness enthusiast and loves to work out. On March 30, she shared a picture of himself on her IG while working out at the Pure Fitness Africa Gym and revealed that her personal trainer was Ekemini Ekerette.

Guinness World Record finally confirms chef Hilda Baci’s record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual
On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, the Guinness World Records officially certified and awarded Hilda Baci as the new record holder for the “Longest Cooking Marathon” by an individual.
She cooked for four days for 100 hours but according to the GWR, almost seven hours were not counted because she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks and hence her record set was 93 hr 11 min.
Hilda cooked 100 pots of food over four days and the food was donated to a local charity in Nigeria.
She dubbed her journey “Cook-ah-thon“, it began on May 11 and ended on May 15. It featured a live-streamed show on multiple social media channels where Hilda made over 250 recipes.
Prior to her journey, she revealed her inspiration behind it by saying;
The journey to the cook-a-thon started five years ago. It is one of my biggest aspirations and I am glad that I took the bold step to embark on this adventure. I have taken time to prepare for this psychologically and I am proud to finally take on this challenge.
The cook-a-thon is also an opportunity to tell some of the positive stories that come from Africa through the meals that we make.
This attempt is also proof of the strength young people can exhibit with the right platform and support. I look forward to receiving support from people across the world to achieve this feat.
Lata Tondon who previously held the record used 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds cooking in Rewa, India, in 2019.
The internet personality and chef has received a lot of support from Nigerians during and after her journey, including some prominent figures in the country. Like, the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo called her via a phone call to cheer her up. The governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo Olu went to Amore Garden, Lekki, Lagos where Hilda’s cook-a-thon is taking place to encourage her.
