Alex Collins was an American professional football player who was a running back for the National Football League.
The American professional football player attended South Plantation High in Fort Lauderdale where he played football, basketball, lacrosse and track. Alex was a multi-talented athlete in High school.
During his junior year, he was named the Broward County Player of the Year after rushing for 1,786 yards and 28 touchdowns as the Paladins earned seven victories and qualified for the state playoffs.
He set another record for himself in his senior year after he rushed for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns helping South Plantation to nine wins, the district title and a berth in the 8A state playoffs.
Alex Collins continued his amazing football performances in college after going to the University of Arkansas. He played college football for the University of Arkansas from 2013 to 2015.
In 2016, Alex Collins was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. He signed a lucrative 4-year deal worth $2.2 million overall with a $184,000 bonus.
After a year at Seattle Seahawks, Alex Collins was waived by Seattle. He later signed for Baltimore Ravens on September 5, 2017.
