How many children does Drake have?

Drake is not only one of the hottest mcees in the world but he is also a one doting dad. He has a son named Adonis Graham.

The Grammy-award-winning rapper shares his kid with French artist Sophie Brussaux.

On his 2021 album Certified Lover Boy, he referred to himself as “co-parent of the year.”

How did Drake and Sophie Brussaux meet? Brussaux was first linked with the OVO hitmaker in January 2017 after the couple were photographed on a dinner date in Amsterdam while Drake was stopping over on his Boy Meets World Tour. That May of the same year, she reportedly claimed she was pregnant with Drake’s child.

Adonis’s birth made headline and caused a massive stir online because the rapper first denied being responsible for Sophie’s pregnancy until she went all out asking for DNA test. She reportedly hired two major New York City attorneys to begin the proceedings to prove paternity and seek child support, TMZ reported.

However, Drake confirmed later that a DNA test he received the results to in March 2018 proved the son Brussaux gave birth to is his child.

Drake and Brussaux both waited until March 2020 to share any photos of Adonis, who was born on Oct. 11, 2017. “I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son,” Drake told rapper Lil Wayne on his radio show, Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne on Apple Music. “I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket … I just wanted to free myself of that,” he continued.

In October 2022, Brussaux celebrated her son’s 5th birthday with a loving post on Instagram. She shared a photo from Adonis’ superhero party and snaps of herself and Adonis smiling. “Joyeux anniversaire mon amoureux…5 ans déjà,” she wrote in the caption. “I’m so proud of the beautiful human you are growing up to be.” She also tagged Drake, saying, “We’ve done a great job @champagnepapi.”

In August 2023, Drake revealed a tattoo of Adonis’ name on the back of his neck. The rapper also has a portrait of baby Adonis inked on his right arm, which he debuted in 2019.

Who is Adonis Graham?

Adonis Graham is a celebrity kid who was born to famous and wealthy rapper Drake and his ex-girlfriend, Sophie Brussaux.

He was born on October 11, 2017 and is five years old (as of the time of this article).

Adonis is a boy with many talents. He is following in the footsteps of both his mother and father.

He’s an artist just like his mom. Both Drake and Brussaux have posted photos of their son’s artwork on social media, from his earliest drawings to more serious paintings on their social media pages.

Aside from basketball and painting, he’s tried his hand at martial arts, posing for a photo with his mom in matching martial arts get-ups. “This is a proud mama post,” Brussaux wrote.

He speaks French: At just 4 years old, Adonis was already bilingual, thanks to Brussaux, who hails from France. In an adorable video posted on Instagram, Adonis asks his dad if he wants to be taught how to speak “en français.” Drake responds, “yes, please,” and Adonis begins his lesson, speaking in French as his dad repeats each word back to him. As the lesson continues, Drake asks, “Is that really what you said or are you just making stuff up?” Adonis jokes back by keeping quiet, prompting Drake to call his son “a funny guy.”

He loves to watch basketball like his dad. Any Drake’s longtime fans can attest to the fact that he loves basketball. He has graced several NBA games and events and often attends with his son.

Adonis doesn’t just watch basketball — he plays it, too! The boy showed off his skills in a December 2021 Instagram story posted by Drake, dribbling a ball a few times before tossing it up and making the basket.

“Yo, where you learn to shoot like that?” the proud dad asked Adonis in a later video. “I don’t know,” he humbly replied with a shrug of his shoulders. “You went four for five. You hit four shots out of five!” Drake continued. Adonis finally admitted that he practices basketball at school, before sending his dad into hysterics, adding, “Also, send that to our girl.”

Drake also joked about Adonis’ love of the game while talking to NBA star Lebron James and businessman Maverick Carter on The Shop, saying: “You know he’s already in the pool like shooting the basketball. He’s gonna get to a certain age, I’m gonna bring him right to [Lebron’s] house and I’ma be like, ‘Yo, summer camp at Bronny’s house!’ “
